Terms and Conditions

We don’t want to disappoint our customers so please take a moment to read our terms and conditions. Danko sells to public as well as to the trade practitioners. Trade prices quoted are available to architects, designers, decorators and related trade. Bulk orders (more than one item) will be quoted on application. Danko reserves the right to seek proof of business through ABN, ACN, business description and trading address before releasing price lists and product information. Purchase is on a proforma/invoice basis and fully payable before delivery. Prices quoted do not include GST and freight costs. Freight costs will be quoted separately. In issuing this price list, the quoted prices are subject to variation due to fluctuations in manufacturing and shipping costs. Customers will be informed of prices at time of order.

Special Orders

Special Orders can be placed with 50% deposit and the balance payable prior to delivery. Title of goods remains in the name of Danko Design until full payment is received. Deposit will be forfeited if the order is cancelled once placed with the manufacturer. Danko is not liable for delays resulting from manufacture or shipping or any failure on the part of the manufacturer to produce and ship the ordered goods. In the event that orders cannot be fulfilled or goods do not arrive in Australia or are damaged, the deposit will be refunded.

Lead - time

Lead-time on manufacture and shipping are estimates only as some production of items is by traditional artisans using hand - craft methods and seasonal variations. Customers will be informed of variations in delivery schedules.


Customers are advised that once Internet purchases are dispatched, they cannot be refunded unless goods are damaged in transit. Refunds and returns will not be accepted if the buyer or other party has a change of mind. Due to the handcrafted nature of the goods there may be minor variations in finishes and motifs to those displayed on the website.


No goods can be returned without prior arrangement. Refunds are strictly limited to the replacement of faulty products. Damaged goods should be notified to Danko within 48 hours of delivery.


Delivery charges will be added to the Customer's order total, or as quoted. Delivery on all orders is Ex-Works. The Products will be delivered to the address provided by the Customer and the customer must ensure that address details, which they provide, are accurate. Danko cannot be held responsible for lost working time or any associated costs in the unlikely event of a delivery being delayed, incorrect, damage.

Sale of Goods

All Products are believed by Danko to be of a quality suitable for the purpose and specification for which they are intended. Hanging instructions will be provided with some the Products. All technical information in response to enquiry is given by Danko in good faith. It will ultimately be for the Customer to satisfy themself as to the suitability of the product having regard to their own particular situation and upon site conditions that are unknown to Danko. The liability of Danko will not exceed the value of the products supplied. In particular, loss of profits and consequential, financial and other such losses are excluded.

Stock Availability

If an item is out of stock, the Customer will be emailed within 2 working day of placing an order. Please email admin@dankodesign.com if delivery of your order is urgent.
